Who we are
Interlaken Cloud is operated by a registered company whose legal name and address are still being confirmed. Both will be named here before this draft is in force, and that entity is the one responsible for the data described below.
Data we collect
The account details you give us when you sign up, the resources you create and configure, and the operational records the platform produces while running them — logs, metering records and request metadata. Payment details are handled by a payment provider rather than stored by us.
How we use it
To run and bill the services you asked for, to keep the platform secure and available, and to answer support requests. We do not sell it. The exhaustive list of purposes, and the legal basis for each, is still being drafted.
Where it is stored
On infrastructure operated for Interlaken Cloud. The specific regions, the retention period for each class of record, and the timeline for deleting data after an account closes are not settled yet, and we will not guess at them here.
Third parties
Some functions depend on outside providers — payment processing, and the AI model providers behind the assistant and agent features. A complete list, naming each provider and what it receives, will appear in this section rather than in a link nobody reads.
Your rights
What you can ask us to do with your data, and how to ask, depends on where you live. This draft deliberately makes no claim of compliance with any particular data-protection regime; those statements belong in a reviewed document, not a placeholder.
Changes to this policy
When this draft is replaced by a version that is actually in force, the date above changes and the change is announced to account holders. We will not quietly edit a live policy.
Questions about this draft
Write to us and say which section you are asking about. Corrections are welcome — a draft is easier to fix than a published policy.
